What is the minimum loan?

The minimum loan is £1,500, over 18 months.

What is the maximum loan?

But typically the maximum we lend to tenants is £5,000 and £8,000 for homeowners. If you have a large deposit, say above 40% we may lend more.

Who can apply for an personal loan with 1st Stop Car Finance?

Can I get a loan if I have County Court Judgments’ (CCJ’s) or Defaults?

Yes. 1st Stop Car Finance are specialists in non-standard finance and are more interested in your future than your past.

What if I am self-employed?

You can apply if you are self employed, but you must have been in business for one full year and have a minimum deposit of 25%

Have I got to be a home owner?

No.

Do I have to fill in an application and what happens to my details?

You can either apply on-line or give us a call. The application is simple and our loan advisors will complete it for you if you wish. We use the details you provide to assess your application to get the right loan for you.

When can I have my car?

We can move very quickly – we often do deals the same day. The delay is normally the car dealer – not 1st Stop Car Finance.

What interest rate will I have to pay?

This varies on your financial status and the amount you borrow. Rest assured you will know the flat interest rate, APR and the total amount payable before you commit to the loan. If you are not happy – don’t proceed.
